Bargain beauty

This is my pick of the best beauty bargains I have purchased this month

Clearasil perfectawash auto face wash system
I will be the first to admit this is a seriously gimmicky product, it claims to dispense just the right amount of a face wash that clears imperfections but is gentle enough for daily use, the face wash itself is great it cleared up a few blemishes I had from a weekend of rum punch and greasy Caribbean food and left my skin feeling really clean and refreshed
The dispenser technology is pretty much pointless it has to be turned off or you will end up with face wash everywhere if you so much as breathe next to it.
However this is a soon to be discontinued and was a serious bargain from Boots at £2.67 (I also spotted refills on sale for £2.00 in Sainsburys) I will try anything for a couple of quid and have been really impressed with the face wash just not very taken by the dispenser and find it almost insulting for clearasil to suggest we are unable to dispense our own product

I refuse to pay full price for anything I know I can get cheaper and recently picked up two body butters in mango and grapefruit and a couple of grapefruit shower gels on a "buy 4 get 40% off" deal at my nearest body shop outlet store, these items came to a grand total of £19.20 which is amazing considering the body butter alone has an rrp of £13.00
I am aware there's not much I can tell you about body shop products as it is a brand most people have tried, they smell amazing they do what they say on the tin, and if you're anything like me you will get even more satisfaction using these products knowing you saved 40%

Last but not least I picked up some exfoliating facial wipes from Asda on a whim and they are great, I have had similar exfoliating wipes that have had a grainy texture and I have found them to be a little too abrasive these have more of a waffle like texture and I have been using them alongside the clearasil facial wash to give my face a deep clean and remove dead skin cells without irritating my skin, at £1.00 for 30 wipes I may just be purchasing these again

Thank you for reading, leave me a comment if you have any bargain beauty products!

Uniq one review

To date Uniq one is the only brand that has landed on my doorstep in a glossy box that I have instantly fallen in love with and repurchased several times.
Uniq one consists of a sulphate free cleansing balm and all in one hair treatment that promise to deliver the following

Repair for dry damaged hair
Shine & frizz control
Heat protection
Silkiness and smoothness
Colour protection UVA UVB filters
Easier brushing & ironing
Incredible detangling
Long lasting hairstyle
Split ends prevention
Adds body

I have to say they deliver on all counts, at first I was a little dubious about the effectiveness of a non foaming shampoo, I have quite oily hair and was concerned about its clarifying properties, luckily my worries were unfounded I have never received as many compliments as I did on my first week of using these products, I subsequently convinced quite a few of my friends to invest (seriously I should be on commission)

These products have almost completely replaced my hair care routine, the balm is nourishing enough not to need a separate conditioner just a few sprays of the all in one treatment are all you need for styling and finishing.
The smell of these products is incredible they have that luxurious salon smell that makes you feel fresh from the hairdressers.
To sum up I think this is a fantastic all round range of products and although they are a little pricier than I would like to spend on what is essentially a shampoo and conditioner
(they are available for around £15 on amazon for a 350ml cleansing balm and 150ml spray)

They really are worth it, everyone I have forced to try have loved the results and I can't recommend enough, after using these my hairdresser commented to how very little needed to be trimmed off of the ends and pointed out a few whispy bits of new hair growth, although I can't
credit this entirely to these products they have been the bulk of my hair are routine for 6 months, once a week I use a more clarifying lathering shampoo just to give my hair a deep clean but I'm sure for anyone with drier hair this would not be necessary

Thank you for reading
Hope this was helpful to anyone looking to invest
